Colours are like people...
Some are made for each other. Others just get along. Then there are those best kept apart.
Not everyone can be a design expert, but clients do expect you to choose and combine colours when decorating a property and if they don't like the colours, they won't like the decorating job, however professional the work is.
So this guide is designed to take the hassle and, above all, the guesswork out of selecting and combining colours. Helping you to come up with a great colour palette and avoid the ultra-safe and boring "make everything magnolia" approach.
Choosing and using the palettes
To keep things simple we've narrowed the vast array of over 12,000 Dulux Trade paint colours down to a manageable number. Then we divided them into the two palettes you'll find inside this leaflet, along with detailed instructions on how to make the most of them.
Remember to stick to one palette per colour scheme.
Includes...
- Brief overview of visual contrast and building regulations
- Easy-to-follow instructions on how to use the palettes to create schemes ideal for different surfaces and spaces e.g. open plan offices, poorly lit corridors & feature walls.
